With the World Congress meeting in Las Vegas this month there will be many different panels and discussions to attend, but it's important to shed light on some of the more challenging topics while leading up to the conference. Austa Parker is a PhD student who has received awards for her past research papers at the International Ultraviolet Association World Congress in Washington DC. She is a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellow at University of Colorado at Boulder, and she has also worked on the Colorado Haiti Project. With water rapidly becoming an endangered resource on our planet it is imperative the best minds collaborate around the topic of water purification.
